“Picture This: We Can End Poverty” Photo Contest
Olympus, who has been supporting Oyako Day since 2004, is having photo contest in partnership with UNDP and AFP Foundation. The theme is showing inspirational work to achieve the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) target of halving extreme poverty by 2015. Winning photographs will be exhibited during the UN MDG Summit and UN General Assembly in September, 2010 in New York and 3 of the photographers, whose work were selected, will be invited to attend the opening ceremony. Deadline for entries is midnight EST July 16, 2010 and is open to both amateur and professional photographers. Please forward this information to anyone who may be interested in applying.
